Why does it have to be a general anesthetic? (I'm genuinely curious.)

This entire post made me dizzy, queasy, and anxious.
I don't think I'm ready to have more children!

I know all will be fine, but no sports for six weeks?
Why so long?

Annie: The doc said that the surgery can be quick, or it can take a long time, depending on how wound up the malformation is. Rather than pumping him steadily with a local, which could turn out to be a lot if the surgery takes a long time, it's better to put him under.

Danny: sorry for the nausea-inducing post. It turns out Gabe only has to sit out for two weeks.

I'll keep him close in my heart in prayer.

You, too.

Is Danny having more children??? Are you a prego, Danny:0)? If so, congratulations!! We already know you're a good Dad.

Yes, Karen, we're having twins, but now it looks like my queasy, dizzy comment above is related to that as if I'm the one who's pregnant! Oy, one man having a kid this year is enough, I have no desire to be on Oprah (although my wife still insists that men can lactate if they really want to...which I most certainly don't!).

Uh, men lactate? I'd only believe that if i saw it.

Twins!!! I am so happy for you. You will gain weight, you know!! As for one man being pregnant this yr? Yeah- he's a she. No matter howit's spun. Did you see the pic of her before the hormone treatments and the breast removal? She was so beautiful. It makes me think of destroying a temple. Ah, well. To each his own.
