And that's why your writing comes across so honestly - because it's for you, not for the blogosphere.

I love the image of bellying up to the bar within your blog.

Personally, I'm more torn: I go back and forth between courting the community side of blogging and insisting that my blog is for me and me alone.

Hi David

Although I don't think I qualify as a blog you haven't read before, your comments are always welcome over at my place.In fact they're greatly appreciated.

Also I have a ton of interesting Jewish blogs on my blog roll so if you're looking for new reads you might find some good stuff there.

The soul selects her own society,
Then shuts the door;
On her divine majority
Obtrude no more.

Unmoved, she notes the chariot's pausing
At her low gate;
Unmoved, an emperor is kneeling
Upon her mat.

I've known her from an ample nation
Choose one;
Then close the valves of her attention
Like stone.

I found you through Ambivablog, and have been enjoying your online musings for the past couple of months. For yourself or for the 'sphere, it's been a good read. Thanks.

Alison: I'm always honored when you visit -- thanks for the compliment.

Avi: I'll stop by again, and more often.

Me Sis: Gorgeous!

Maria: Glad to make your acquaintance. I'll be by to visit you, too!

:0)- I enjoy just like all the others. I'm reminded of our heifers or horses- a whole pasture to grub down and they just know the best is under the fenceline.

Yup- i'm #3 in line along the fence of True Ancestor.

The grass is exactly the right shade of green.
