My blog-roll doesn't accurately reflect my obssessive trolling for the new and stimulating. However, Jewish Atheist demands to be added for the wide-ranging, well-read, well-reasoned, provocative but never inflammatory nature of his (?) posts.
Here he waxes way more eloquent than Yours Truly on Judaism and Buddhism (as does Rabbi Seinfeld, of whom I'll be reading more). Here he excerpts strong condemnation, from leading conservative columnists, of the Christian Right's advocacy of Intelligent Design. Here he wonders aloud why the religious right doesn't support universal health care. And here he asks, "Is God an accident?"
I am always stimulated by reasonable and intelligent people, even when -- especially when -- their views aren't entirely consistent with mine (and whose are?). So it is with Jewish Atheist.
Good, provocative reading with which to usher in the Sabbath.
